Here's a short introduction to the Drivers:

Willie Chrystal

Main Driver for Team Fire. Married to Karen and father to Liam, Jamie & Niamh.
I heard about the Barcelona Bangers from my good friend Kev, myself and 2 colleagues from the Glasgow Airport Fire Station decided that we would enter a team.
Unfortunately the other guys had to pull out. Thats when Kev offered to jump the "Team Fire Car" and basically saved the trip. Kevin left the fire service last year (photo below show's me wishing him the best on his last day) and I  also left last month. I now teach at Reid Kerr College in Paisley on a part time basis.
Not hit the 40 years mark yet but will be ready to celebrate my 39th as soon as we return from Barcelona! My oldest, Liam, attended Yorkhill soon after he was born and it amazed me the work that goes on in the hospital. A few of my friends have also had their kids in as well.
I'm a bit of a car nut and have had the old Volvo for a couple of years.
It had been in the fire station for the last 15 years with 3 owners including me!

Wish us luck.....we're gonna need it!!

Kevin Jose

Hi my name is Kevin Jose co driver Team Fire. I am 40 years old married with 1 daughter.
I got involved in BB last year when my neighbour came across it on the net.  So myself, Mark Austin and Raj Deb put a team in .
Our charity was The Kersland School in Paisley for children with extreme learning difficulties, http://www.kersland.renfrewshire.sch.uk/
We drove from Paisley to the start of the rally in Calais where we met up with another 22 banger teams. Our banger was a "G" plate Citreon XM (Below) which cost us £150. We sold it, to a returning team who's banger never made it, for 20 euros and we all flew back. We raised over £2500.

This year we have 2 bangers. I was supposed to be with my original team from last year but unfortunately we lost 2 members from Team Fire so I have moved over to assist Willie.
Both cars will travel together to Barca. I hope to raise as much money this year for both of these good causes.
I would also like to thank Danny Anderson  of GDS services ltd Bothwell for sponsoring the fuel costs for the BMW ( shame he doesn't know its a 735i below)....Well he does now Kev...

Regards
Kevin "Crazy K" Jose
